Yesterday started by going to Espen's gym where we vegged out for two hours while the girls went to a creche and played. Internet, coffee, newspapers was most relaxing and pleasant. Note I didn't participate in any of the gym activities.
Then went to Linda's cousin Ann - well now my cousin too - for a catch up with the family and some lunch. Simone, Phillip and Joy, Sandra, Elliott and his intended Rachel, Simon, Ann and their 5 week old baby Joshua were all there as well as Rachel's parents.
Me and my Oyster Card have totally mastered the London Underground - how proud Linda would have been of me as this was her role - having caught only one taxi since I have been here. I did have to print off a larger map as my eyes can't read 3 point text which they seem to use for the names of the train stations.
Good news - sales everywhere
Bad news - I don't need anything
Good news - that never stopped me before
Bad news - still couldn't find anything
Good news - still have pounds in my pocket
Spent the morning today (Monday) walking around Putney (where the girls went to Eddie Catz's - a play centre) and I then moved on to Knightsbridge and the food halls of Harrods.
Then back on home to do some work, update this blog and other bits and pieces. Tonight am having dinner with Espen and his Bridge Patrone round the corner and hopefully my jetlag will leave me some time soon.
